Hoisting & Rigging

Overview

Rigging equipment is commonly used in the workplace to lift, carry and move many materials where completing the task by hand may not be possible or practicable.

This Program aims to give participants enough information to safely assess loads, attach rigging and direct the movement of a load via hand signals to an operator. Note that this program only covers the rigging equipment inspection and use, not the operation of any crane that it may be attached to.
